FEAST. by Megan Gogerty was a one-woman play that I produced and directed that focused on feminine rage and the strategic use of off-putting/strange characterization in the theatre. This was funded via Reed Arts Grant Experience (RAGE) a competitive grant for $6,400 through Reed College. The play itself is written from the point of view of the mother of the monster, Grendel, from Beowulf; it features themes of justice and tackles what it means to be on the outskirts of society and what structures lead to ostracization and unfair punishment.
