Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play by Anne Washburn

Mr. Burns is a piece that focuses on how humans cope after a massive disaster. In the play, a group of people get together and begin to discuss their memories of a particular Simpsons episode. In the second act, these same people are seen to be making this episode into a play, and in the third we see the full realization of their post -apocalyptic Simpson's musical. I played the character Maria who is a member of the original group. This piece was extremely timely being the first piece of theatre I participated in after lockdown was lifted from the 2020 Pandemic.
