No More Candy by Mikki Gillette; Salt and Sage Productions

In August 2024, I was cast as Belinda in the world premiere production of Mikki Gillette's No More Candy, directed by Asae Dean of Salt and Sage Productions. This dramatic piece focused on the ways trauma and our reactions to it can interact with our different relationships through the lens of a college relationship between a cis woman (Belinda), and a trans woman (Desiree) The two main characters struggle to overcome a lot of mental hurdles so that they can accept that they care for each other in a world which seems, to them, to be constantly working against them.
